Drawing a line with the LINE command

Point your cursor over the graphic icon in the Draw panel. This icon is the Line icon.
Note that a brief description of Line appears next to the cursor.
Select the icon by clicking once with the Left Mouse click, which will activate the Line command.
At the command prompt, the bottom of the AutoCAD screen, the message "_line Specify first point:" is displayed.
AutoCAD expects us to identify the location of the beginning of a straight line.
Move the graphics cursor in the graphics window appears three numbers representing the location of the cursor in the X, Y, and Z directions.
We will create a sketch using the command line.
Left click the mouse once to the starting position of our first line of dots. This will be the first point of our sketch.
Next move the cursor up and point toward the right side, Left click the mouse again and we have created our first line ketsa.
Move the cursor to the left of point 2 and
make the same horizontal line about
long as the first line on the screen.
Repeat the steps above from point 3 to point 4, point 4 to point 5, and then connected to a 5 point back to square one.
click once with the right mouse button and popup menu is displayed.
Select Enter with the left mouse button to end the command-line.
