Rectangular Pattern

Now, we will learn to create copies of objects in a rectangular pattern, or called rectanguler array.
For Rectangular Array, an array of rows and columns of copies of objects that we choose to control the number of rows and columns and the distance between each.
If we define a line, we must specify more than one column. If we set a large number of rows and columns to arrays,
AutoCAD may take time to make copies. By default, the maximum number of array elements that can we produce in a single command is 100,000.
If we set one column, we must specify more than one line. If we set a large number of rows and columns to arrays.

To create a rectangular array

From the Modify menu, choose Array.
In the Array dialog box, select the Rectangular Array.
Choose the Select Objects.
Select the item you want in the array.
Select the item you want in the array and press ENTER.
In the Rows and Columns box, enter the number of rows and columns in the array.
Determine the horizontal and vertical distances between objects
enter the distance between rows and between columns. Adding a plus sign (+) or minus (-) to determine direction.
Click the select button
select the object and click OK
